Nicole graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in English Education for grades 7-12. In 2005, Nicole graduated from Xavier University with a Master's Degree in Education with Reading. Nicole started her career teaching 8th English Language Arts at Bethel Tate Middle School, where she taught for two years. For the last 22 years of her teaching experience, Nicole has taught 8th English Language Arts at Kings Junior High in Kings Mills, Ohio. She is also the English Department Chair for both seventh and eighth grades. In her years at Kings Junior High School, Nicole has worked on many professional committees, including the organization and planning of the application process for Ohio Schools to Watch (OSTW) and serving on the Building Leadership Team. Within OMLA, Nicole has presented at the state conference and was recognized as a recipient of the Southwest Regional Award for Best Practice from OMLA. Nicole lives in Cincinnati with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog.
