I am currently the Assistant Dean in the School of Education at Shawnee State University. I have over 35 years of experience in Education. Prior to this position I served as Middle Childhood Faculty teaching Foundations of Middle Childhood Education, General Methods, Action Research, and supervising student teachers. I have been attending the OMLA conference for over 20 years and bringing our college students to present and attend the conference. My teaching experience began at the 6th grade level in the Hillsboro City Schools. My bachelors is from Wilmington College in Elementary Education grades 1-8. My masters and PhD are from the University of Dayton in Educational Leadership. I am on the Adams County Ohio Valley School District Board of Education where I serve as Vice President. I am a member of the Leadership Adams Board where I am actively involved with our youth leadership academy. I am a member of the Growing Rual Independence Together (GRIT) steering committee. I live on a farm in Adams County with my husband Robble. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family and traveling.
